Our team of highly skilled and motivated instructors all share a genuine passion for helping members achieve their health and fitness goals. We have various fitness facilities onsite to help you do this.

Pilates


 

Pilates is a very safe and effective form of exercise, which works by strengthening the core postural muscles of the body. Through this the body is re-balanced and brought back into correct alignment. The result being a longer, leaner body, and because all exercises are done in a slow controlled way the results are much longer term. Through the relaxing tone and the results it brings, Pilates is also excellent for relieving stresses and tension. It teaches you how to strengthen the deep stabilising muscles of the trunk, making it ideal for the prevention and treatment of back problems - one of the reasons why Pilates enjoys unique support from the medical profession and is at the leading edge of sports medicine today.


Pilates is sold in courses here which run in 5-8 week blocks depending on term times.

Please note there are maximum numbers in each course, and the courses will only run if a minimum requirement is met. Pure beginners need to book into a beginners course before joining any mixed ability course.
