                                                  Post Natal Classes - babies welcome plus creche for under 5's


 

The post natal class is designed for Mums from 6 weeks after having a baby, but you can join anything up to 5 months post natal. It is a sociable class as the coffee bar offers an opportunity to meet with friends both before and after class and top up babies as well as a chance to relax and get a drink or even lunch for yourself. The classes are on Friday mornings at 10.45am and occasionally at 12 noon dependent on demand, the classes provide;


  • a structured programme designed to give discernable progression
  • a gentle start but progresses over the course
  • background information about what has happened to the body in pregnancy and what is needed to return it to it’s original strength and beyond
  • focus on the abdominal muscles, pelvic floor and postural muscles
  • a welcoming atmosphere for babies as they watch in their car seats or push chairs

The classes are held at Sandown Sports Club in Esher. The sports club has crèche facilities for babies and older children if you should need or prefer it. There are excellent facilities for feeding both before and after class and many Mums use the time to meet socially and make new friends. The class is popular with antenatal groups.
